Our firm was established in 1955 by Marius Ribeyron, and until 1968, manu-factured craft textile products. Then, the plastics division opened, at first its activity mainly consisted in welding bags from subcontractors.
In
1976 Ribeyron purchased its first extruders in order to hold a complete
pro-duction line from extrusion to welding. The firm moved to new facilities
in 1978 on the present location. Further extensions for production and
storage have been built or extended in 1982, 1986 and 1993.
The
textiles division was closed in 1996, and since this date Ribeyron has
been exclusively involved in plastics production. The manufacturing of
refuse sacks also started in 1996.
In 1998 a new factory opened, dedicated to the technical films and refuse sacks. The laboratory of the firm is also located in these new facilities.
